A gorgeous pair of drop earrings designed in the shape of stylised flowers and decorated with beautiful, deep red flat cut Garnets set in closed backed 18ct Yellow Gold galleries.
The Garnet has been adored throughout history for its blazing red colour which hides beneath its dark surface. It is said to be a stone of purity, truth and a symbol of love and compassion.
The galleries and stones have been beautifully preserved from the Georgian era (Circa 1830) and may have originally been a part of a necklace but have since been converted into earrings with the addition of Gold hook wires.
They are in good condition for their age and look stunning dangling from each ear.
